LEGENDS:   The system recognises phrases expressed in the NATO phonetic alphabet (e.g., alpha, bravo, charlie, delta, etc.)
Phrases expressed within curly braces ( e.g., {ONOFF} ), indicate that the values are detailed at the bottom of the page.
Frequency settings can be expressed using POINT or DECIMAL (e.g., "123 POINT 5", or "123 DECIMAL 5")
Phrases displayed in parentheses, e.g., ( the ), indicate that the phrase is optional.
Phrases "nine" or "niner" are both interpreted as "9"

Deactivate ATC Responses
When this feature is ACTIVATED, and you say, "Climb and maintain ????", or "Descent and maintain ????", or "Turn left heading ???", or "Turn right heading ???" the system will send a NUMERIC ONE ("1") to the ATC window to acknowledge the ATC instruction.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: Care must be taken using this facility.   If the ATC window has been left open in some other standby mode, the execution of a NUMERIC ONE ("1") to the ATC window might be understood by ATC as a request for a new runway, select a new IFR destination, or whatever.   Therefore, make certain that you close the ATC window (if it has been left open by the FS) by simply saying, ATC."
